Background & Challenge:
EDM Council is the leading advocate for the development and implementation of data standards, best practices, and comprehensive training and certification programs. Since its inception, the Council had relied heavily on its in-person events and services. However, with events going virtual and businesses working remotely in 2020, it has been imperative to digitize the business and implement a more robust digital marketing strategy.
Paragon took lead in the digitization and marketing of EDM Council’s core offerings. This includes transforming the firm’s high revenue in-person events into interactive, virtual experiences while also creating greater awareness around its newest initiatives (e.g., workgroups, DataVision) to generate an uptick in engagement and new memberships – including in additional industries.
With Paragon’s help, EDM Council has been able to cement its position as the leading resource on data management best practices. In 2020, the Council organized a global virtual conference series, hosted 20+ webinars, and participated in 15+ external virtual events with Paragon leading the event management. Through various digital marketing efforts, the events brought in 10,000+ attendees with participation from global leaders such as Google and Amazon.
